Content & Review Policy

How reviews work, what content is allowed, and how Travaix handles permanence, reporting, and moderation.

Last updated:

This page is written in plain English to reflect the current Travaix implementation. It should be reviewed by a qualified privacy or legal professional before launch.

Review submission

Only signed-in users can submit reviews. Anonymous visitors can browse companies and preview public reviews, but must sign in to contribute.

A signed-in user may submit only one review per company. Travaix enforces this with a user-company participation record that does not store review IDs or timestamps.

Review permanence

Before submitting a review, users must acknowledge that published reviews cannot be edited or deleted by the author after submission.

This is a direct consequence of the privacy architecture: published reviews do not store ownership links back to user accounts.

Verified Employee reviews

Employment verification is supported for user-company relationships. If a user is verified for a company, future reviews for that company can be marked Verified Employee.

Existing reviews are not changed after later verification. Verification does not create review ownership.

Country-specific reviews

Reviews are tied to a company and a country. Companies should exist once in Travaix, with country locations attached to the company rather than duplicate company records.

Removal from public view

Reviews are published immediately. A review may be removed from public view if moderation or legal review determines that it violates policy or law.

Removed reviews are not physically deleted from the database; they remain stored with a Removed status for moderation and audit purposes.

Content that may be removed

  • Spam or advertising.
  • Harassment, abuse, threats, or discriminatory attacks.
  • Personal information or doxxing.
  • False or misleading information.
  • Illegal content.
  • Attempts to identify, retaliate against, or pressure reviewers.
